How do you determine what you will pay me to sell gold? |

The price of your items is determined by the spot price of scrap gold, the weight of your items, and the karat (purity) of your items. See our “What we pay” page for more detail. Please keep in mind that we pay for the value of the precious metal which may be different from what you paid for the item. Jewelers typically mark up their items 8-10 times. We pay for the precious metal content (melt value). |

Are there any costs involved in using your sell gold service? |

Absolutely none! We pay for FedEx shipping for your gold items. If you are not happy with the check we send you, return it to us and we will send your items back to you at our expense. |

How do I know you will pay me a fair price for my gold items? |

We continually monitor all our major competitors who sell gold online. We have never found any of them to pay more than we do. That’s a fact. This includes jewelers.
